Springing Forward!Fourth grade families,
As winter winds down there are many school activities and functions to look forward to. Our MacKenzie Center field trip will be on April 4 (please look for a note to come home soon). Forward testing beings the first week of April as well. A testing schedule will be sent home soon. In reading we have been busy learning about Sacagawea, Lewis and Clark, and the Louisiana Purchase. Students have been working on small group plays, onomatopoeia, and main idea. In social studies students have enjoyed learning about how Wisconsin became a state in 1848, along with the Fur Trade. Many students even brought in their own animal pelts/furs to share with the class! Please take a look around our class website to learn more about our fourth grade classroom : ) *Families please look at the tabs at the top of this page to learn more information about our school and classroom* Daily Reading Homework Reminders: - Students should be reading 20-30 minutes at home each night. - Students should have their spelling list for the week in their orange folders, and should be practicing their lists at home.
